SDAS would like to invite its members with Registered Nordic Breed teams to apply to represent Scotland as part of the SDAS Team attending the WSA  World Championship in Sveg, Sweden , 8th – 11th March 2018.

The team will be chosen from those who have supported the SDAS Championship series, have well controlled, competitive teams, and on-snow experience.

Entry fees set by WSA are  €120 for your first class entered, €50 for a second class. (Maximum two classes per competitor)

The entry fee in GP pounds to pay SDAS will be finalised in January to reflect the euro / GBP exchange rate at that time and to cover an equal share of the bank charges for the currency exchange.

Those wishing to be considered for the team that have not already contacted Mary Carter should must send an email immediately stating your chosen classes to followed by a deposit of £20 per class to SDAS:  cheque posted to Mary Carter, Bowland Trails, Netheraird of Glasclune, Blairgowrie, Perthshire, PH10 6SF or by direct bank transfer (Details available on request) or via Paypal:

Deposits must be received by 14th January  2018, and the balance of entry fees must be paid with cleared funds by 28th January 2018 to allow the international transfer to be completed in one transaction and therefore reduce the bank charges.

At this stage, applying will not guarantee your place on the team.  The allocation for each nation is yet to be decided.  Deposits  will be returned to those not gaining a place on the team.   Unfortunately, deposits cannot be refunded for any other reason.
